Today we have a really unique home on Kinnikinnick Drive: a FIVE BED four bathroom home with over four thousand square feet, a three car garage and a competently finished basement that is fantastic for a larger family, or one that hosts guests often!
The main floor is spacious and functional, with no one room dominating the floor; rather the floor is more closed off than many would like, having separate seating, living, and dining rooms throughout. The Kitchen attached to the living room is large and has quality modern appliances and a ton of natural light from the multitude of windows. However, the kitchen does feel slightly dated with it’s stone tile counter tops and tile backsplash; nothing that can’t be overlooked, but worth mentioning nonetheless. The backyard is smaller than many other homes in Vista Ridge, but it is perfectly laid out and is far more functional than some of the oblong yards you can find.
The Upstairs has three kids rooms and a full bathroom for them, and a colossal master suite with a five piece bathroom and a den with a two way fireplace. The biggest problem here is the orientation of the home and the incredible amount of open windows in the suite. It feels as though the entire outer wall of the room is made of window which let in a ton of light and would normally be a huge selling feature, but in this case the windows look entirely out on no less than 10 different neighbor’s yards or interior spaces.
The basement of the home is a fantastic addition and a main selling point of the home. With a good sized den for entertaining, a bedroom, an office space/workout room, and a full bathroom; this space is more than perfect for hosting out of town guests or an older family member who would like their own space.
Overall the home has one real deficiency and that is the orientation. As i mentioned with the master suite, the backyard is the same way albeit to a lesser degree. Plenty of buyer’s are going to be concerned with a lack of privacy and their only views being of their street mates.
