Sadly, the basement is a weak point being both small and unfinished, but that is a small blemish especially when considering that the home’s principle competitors in the neighborhood also lack finished basements.
This home is fantastic, but it has a problem: it is one of many at it’s price point. In the current market, Agents are advising sellers that this is the time to sell, and they aren’t wrong; summer is historically the best time to sell a property. However, in this particular instance, everyone in Vista Ridge at the 600-700k price point seemed to have taken the advice at the same time with a stunning 10 homes on the market. Now individual homes are lost in the mess of many competitors and while the 600k range is historically slower than lower ranges, this abundance of homes is creating a further slowdown.
Always have your Agent check the neighborhood for listings that will be direct competitors to yours so you can hopefully avoid this kind of problem! This home is beautiful and will have no problem selling, but now it’s a matter of when and for how much.
